With just six months to go, I’m still following my old routine – taking it easy. I try to swim twice a week (in reality I can manage one time at best) and since the weather is beautiful and shitty at the same time, I’m doing my cycling trainings in the basement, on the TACX Antares rollers.
Some time ago – first time on the rollers – cadence is really low and I’m trying hard not to fall off 🙂 By today I have done ~600km on the trainer and the feeling is quite good.
In less than two weeks, I’ll be in Spain, Lloret de Mar for our annual Spring Camp. There will be the official start of my real training season. I hope to get into the rhythm and stick to the plan my coach will help to prepare (hopefully 🙂 ). I still have some last minute things to make happen before the trip (nutrition, I need new running shoes, bike needs maintenance etc.) but I’ll manage.
I have already signed up for Tartu Jooksumaraton 23km distance on May 8th 2016. It’ll be the first real test to see, how my knees will handle the running.
